On May 3, in Nowiny held a unique event – Patriotic Picnic “We want you to sing, Homeland...”, which brought together many of the inhabitants of our municipality in a joint celebration of love for the Homeland.
The celebrations have begun Holy Mass for Poland, held in the parish church in Nowiny. Then, in a lofty atmosphere, with sounds Nowiny Dense Orchestra, participants marched to the square, where the white-red flag was solemnly raised at the accompaniment “Mazurka Dąbrowski”. This moment sparked many emotions and was a true symbol of unity and patriotism.
On the square, we opened a picnic for the nobles. Polyonezemwho led: Vice-President of Nowiny Municipality, Daniel Czerwiak and Director of GOK, Edyta Bobryk. Later on, the events were full of emotion patriotic songs, which was led by the Band of Dough under the baton chaplain Wojciech Materekwith vocal support Julia Kasprzyk, Sylvia Lasota and Victoria Basiak.
There were also attractions for the youngest – thanks to the commitment Local Voluntary Centre in Nowiny children could enjoy the specially prepared fun zone of 🎈🎨. Firefighters from the Blacksmith OS, with Commander Janusz Szymkiewicz at the head, they served delicious grilles, and everyone was waiting for stands with cotton candy, popcorn and pizza prepared by Delicioza Pizzeria&Caffe restaurant. 🍕🍿
It was a day full of emotion, community and pride. We thank all those who were with us and joined in this beautiful celebration.
