On August 15, Nowiny residents paid tribute together to heroes who 105 years ago stopped the Bolshevik war in the Battle of Warsaw. Celebrations related to the anniversary of the Miracle on the Vistula River and celebrations of the Polish Army festival began with the Holy Mass in the church of Christ the Redeemer. The Eucharist was presided over by the parish priest, Fr Józef Kubicz, who prayed for his Homeland and all those who gave their lives for her freedom.

After the service, participants of the event listened to a historical lecture prepared by Dionize Krawczyński – Commandant of the March Trails of the First Personnel. The guest arrived at the ceremony with the flag post, thus highlighting the importance and symbolic dimension of the meeting.
