It was another day full of joy, pride and success for extraordinary women from the Rural Housewives Circle “Kowalanki”. During the Christmas Easter Culinary Traditions contest held in Tokarni, their steamed yeast woman won an honorable third place in the baking category!
The traditional recipe, the elaborate details, and the heart inserted into each cake — this is what made “Kowalanska Baba” so highly appreciated by the jury. This is not only a culinary achievement, but also proof of the importance of cultivating local traditions and passing them on from generation to generation.

But this isn't the end of the celebration!
Tomorrow, on Sunday 13 April, during the Easter Heartmast at the in Kielce Pants' Dwork, Kowalanki will present their next talents – this time handicrafts. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn from them the creation of flowers from the paper and traditional Easter palms. This is a perfect opportunity not only to admire artistic art, but also to try your own strength and take with you part of the Świętokrzyskie tradition.
In 11:00–15:00 hours there will also be performances. The Kowalanki and the Bolechowiczanie People's Team will be featured on the stage, providing a musical setting and a truly festive atmosphere.
