On April 24th, Perła Culture Center held an event which will be recorded in the history of the municipality - the first Business and Entrepreneurship Forum was organized, summarized by the "Nowińskie Perła Biznesu" Gala. During the event, statues were presented for prominent local businesses.
The statues of the “Nowińskie Pearls” were presented jointly by: mayor Łukasz Gryń, members of the Competition Chapter, director GOK “Perła” in Nowiny Edyta Bobryk, as well as Senator Krzysztof Słoń and vice-president of the commune council in Nowiny Zofia Duchniak. The awards were presented in four categories:
- Category Binss Socially Responsible - Cooperative Bank in Kielce
- Category Environmentally Friendly - Waterworks Kielce Sp. z o.o.
- Category Innovative business - PTH Pneumatic Complex Osojca J and P Sp. j.
- Category Business Leader - Dyckerhoff Polska Sp. z o.o.
All honored stressed that the award was an honor and confirmation that their activities mattered to the local community. Many of them said that their companies were real pearls, and cooperation with the municipality of Nowiny gives them a sense of stability and motivation to further develop.
The competition Jury, chaired by the mayor of Nowiny, Łukasz Gryń, decided who would be the winner of the “Nowinska Perła”. This group included: Bożena Staniak – Vice President of the Management Board of the Kielce Fair, Janusz Krupa – Director of Development of BGK in Kielce Region, Marek Banasik – President of the Świętokrzyskie Association of Private Employers “Leviathan” and Grzegorz Palus – Managing Director of Vitrintec.
The gala gained a unique artistic atmosphere thanks to the moving concert trio composed of: Maja Wojtaszek, Piotr Sitkowski and Michał Berliński, who left an unforgettable impression among participants of the event.
