On 25 October in Wola Murowana there were celebrations for the 25th anniversary of the “Bolechowiczanie” People's Team. This unique event brought together numerous guests, friends, residents and folklore sympathizers, who together celebrated a quarter century of the band's activities – full of emotions, memories and beautiful artistic performances.
During the Jubilee, the band presented its own authentic bread baking rite, referring to the old customs and ceremoniality of the Świętokrzyska village. The artistic program also included folk songs, dances and performances of invited artists who created an atmosphere of community, emotion and joy. The celebrations were accompanied by memories of past performances, thanks to former members and friends of the band and thanks for their contribution to the community's cultural life.
Many guests attended the Jubilee, who congratulated and wished further artistic success. Among the participants were: Senator of the Republic of Poland Krzysztof Słoń, Vice-starosta Kielecki Tomasz Dulny with his spouse, Mayor of the Gmina Nowiny Łukasz Gryń with his spouse, Deputy Mayor Daniel Czerwiak with his spouse, Secretary of the Gmina Nowiny Piotr Wawer, Chairman of the Gmina Council Nowiny Marcin Wojcieszyński, Vice-President of the Gmina Council Zofia Duchniak, Councillor Halina Musile, Aneta Wajs and Waldemar Kasprzyk, Sołtys of the village Bolechowice Beata Krajewska, President of the Gmina Wodosiętów Kielcech Henryk Milcarz, Director of the Provincial Culture House in Kielce Magdalena Fogiel-Litwinek, Director of the Educational Centers in Bolechowice Urszula Wierzbicka, Editor of the “Echa of the Day” by Stanisław Wróbel with the Provincial Council of Kielce Łukasz Barwinek with his wife, Director of the Museum in the Museum of the Katarzyna, and the Museum of Katarzyna, and the Head of the Museum of.
The event was organized by the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury in Nowiny, which together with the band prepared a programme of celebrations and artistic setting of the Jubilee. The whole was supervised by the director of GOK, Edyta Bobryk, and the event was led by Ewa Lubacz, taking care of the warm atmosphere and smooth course of the ceremony.
The Bolechowiczanie People's Team has been promoting the folk culture of the Świętokrzyskie region for 25 years, nurturing traditions and passing them on to other generations. His activities are not only concerts and performances, but also active participation in the community's social and cultural life. Thanks to the work of members of the folklore team, it remains a living part of our identity.
